Kelly Ogilvie has a unique background with a dual career as an entrepreneur and the other half in public policy and politics. Kelly served as Senior Advisor to Governor Inslee on Business and Economic Development leading the Governor’s Office on economic incentives, tax credits, workforce development, infrastructure investments, internet, biotech, maritime, aerospace, and innovation based strategies. Kelly was Director of Government Affairs for the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce, and currently consults renewable energy firms in Washington, helping them navigate the legislative and regulatory landscape. Kelly was a 2013 delegate for the US-Japan Council to Japan and remains active in US-Japan international relations.

Kelly has founded and led Seattle-based companies like Blue Marble Biomaterials, Quemulus, Milli Agency, and DeepCell. He understands technology innovation and the need to foster innovation. Kelly serves on the Boards of Forterra and the Washington Interactive Network, and served on boards for Woodland Park Zoo, Seafair and Washington State University’s CEREO.
