As a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative, BECU is guided by the credit union philosophy of “people helping people.” Putting people over profit guides BECU’s everyday business decisions. Unlike many financial institutions, BECU isn’t owned privately – it’s a cooperative owned by its members. That’s what drives BECU to strive toward doing what’s best for its members and their communities, and by supporting local events for the betterment of those communities. Please come by and say ‘hello’ whether you are new to the neighborhood or have been a neighbor for a while!
