There's a lot of noise around AI right now; countless tools, promises, and headlines. This session cuts through it. In one practical, jargon-free hour, we'll cover which AI tools are actually useful for small businesses and nonprofits, how to know what's worth adopting for your specific organization, how to get started without feeling overwhelmed, and what to keep in mind for responsible, secure use. Attendees will leave with a clear, realistic starting point. In the session we plan to have a short presentation, followed by a demonstration showing how GenAI tools can be applied effectively and then open up the room for a Q&A session.

	Shamik Shah Shamik Shah brings over 6 years of experience in AI, having worked with both large tech companies and non-technical organizations to apply AI meaningfully in real-world settings. He specializes in translating complex AI capabilities into practical, actionable guidance for teams without dedicated technical staff.
	Foram Shah Foram Shah has 5+ years of nonprofit experience, including being on the board of Northshore Senior Center, and is the founder of Pehchaan, a small business supporting Indian artisans. She brings a grounded, small-business perspective to how AI can realistically fit into day-to-day operations.
